Our client, in the entertainment and music industry, often need to take a consistent close up camera and video shot while the musicians and DJs are playing their music. Often times, the camera and the stand is placed in front of the table and this poses a challenge of colliding with the crowd that are enjoying the music.

 

Thus, the client requested a reusable, portable solution that not only ensures uninterrupted camera recording but also seamlessly integrates into the lively party atmosphere.

Therefore, we have designed a 180-degree curved table which serves multiple purposes: it houses and protects the camera, maintains a safe distance between the crowd and camera, and offers a convenient spot for guests to rest their drinks. The table was designed with an innovative snap fit joint mechanism to ensure that when the event is over, the legs can be disassembled quickly from the tabletop and stored conveniently, thus being portable. The design ensured that even if there are collisions with the crowd and the table, the camera operations are still unaffected.
